The Juweler
On a flea market a found an other old sewing machine hood, and then came the idea of making a jeweler. Again we closed the bottom and made 2 windows with a door in between in the front. Inside we build a lot of small cupboard, some with a small plate to pull out to show something like a necklaces. I asked the jeweler in my town to help me with some things, like a reel silver photo frame, he even made from old silver beads beautiful vases, and fruit bowls, e even made real silver spoons, forks and knifes. As a present he gave me a small bracelet with a very small real diamond in it. I was making necklaces from very small beads and tiny zirconia’s, the first one was difficult but after a while you starting to get the hang of it, and then you can make al sorts of things with the small beads,
Boersma in Monnickendam. Before the floor with the cupboard and the things in it, the store was put in the window of the jeweler shop from Bauke Boersma, and there were a lot of people looking. Also to the small watches with rooms in it where a hot item in the window. The watches a made on a workshop with Trees Beertema from Unicorna. After 2 months I got my things back and put the hood over the jeweler store and reserved a place for it in the living room.
