The Bakery
After the shop for the wool the idea came to build a bakery with a separate part where the ladies can drink a cup of tea. Is became a kind of store like in the pic- tures from Anton Pieck, a well-known painter in Holland. It is a woo- den shop, with two round windows and the door in between. The windows (and the door) can be opened; also it is possible to lift of the roof so you can have a good look into the store. It was a new challenge to make bread, biscuits, candy, but with the
help of pictures and Fimo the result is great, even a wedding cake with 3 stories is standing in the shop.
Between the shop and the tea corner is a glass window, here on my father made a beautiful figure with a glasscutter. First he made a drawing and later he made the drawing with a glasscutter, like the do on glasses. It is a very nice tea corner, with cheers, a stove, plants, teapot and cups, and a plate with chocolates. Even in the bakery you can buy pastry, chocolates and children’s candy like English liquids, candy canes. And behind the counter there is a lovely lady to serve you. One other project ready.
